Welcome!

Throughout our lives we experience different seasons. Each season holds a different purpose. We may experience seasons of sadness, loneliness, heartbreak, and sickness. While other seasons may display hope, new beginnings, growth, and achievements.

Sometimes those seasons can feel rather heavy leaving you with thoughts that are tangled and often feeling out of touch with yourself. Not everything that weighs you down is yours to carry alone.

Depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, perfectionism, grief, life changes, relational conflicts, and other issues often can feel like a burden to carry. You do not have to struggle alone.

I am committed to helping you carry those struggles that feel too heavy. I want to help equip you with the tools to take back your power to live a more fulfilling and brighter life.

Asking for help is hard, and may even feel intimidating. You may feel alone with your struggles. I am here to remind you that you are not alone. As you read this, you are already taking that first step!

I will be glad to walk alongside you throughout your journey when you are ready to take that next step.

My primary therapeutic focus is working with individuals, couples, and families. Through therapy, I will help you break down the barriers that trouble you and walk alongside you through healing.

Miranda Kober, MS, LCMFT

Hi there!

As a clinician, I know how important it is to find the right “fit” between therapist and client. So, I wanted to share a bit more about myself and my approach to therapy below so that you can get to know me a bit better.

My name is Miranda Kober, M.S., LCMFT. I grew up in a small town, and moved to Wichita, KS to pursue my education. I earned my Master of Science in Family Therapy from Friends University. My therapeutic focus is providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Aside from my love of therapy, I am a military spouse, and mother to four children. I enjoy spending my free time exploring nature and being adventurous. I have a love for reading, finding new podcasts, crafting, cooking, and listening to music that speaks to the soul.

I believe that developing healthy relationships can foster growth. The therapeutic relationship can be transformative and provide a safe space to explore life events and personal challenges that can be overwhelming. Through our therapy sessions, we will work to slow down and take a deeper look at your inner world, identifying limiting beliefs, and examine how those beliefs may be impacting your world in a negative way.

I have a passion for helping people heal from trauma, and work through their anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and more. If you feel like you are stuck or struggling, I would be honored to collaborate with you and create a safe space for you to deal with difficult emotions, find inner-peace, and make positive changes towards your life goals.

If you feel like we are a good fit – Let’s connect! I would love to hear more about your story. You can submit an inquiry below or call me directly at 316-730-3647.

“Daring Greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you are feeling. To have the hard conversations.”
